1. Why should I consider joining the SWH network?

Joining our Women-to-Women network gives you an opportunity to assist and support independent women homeowners across the country and in your local community. Adding your knowledge, skills, and expertise to our network is a way to increase your presence on the Internet and in your local community.

WomenHomeowners.com is unique opportunity for women who know the value of networking and helping others. Single women represent a significant demographic of homeowners and homebuyers. Our network is way for you to connect with consumers and other like-minded agents.

WH represents an opportunity for you to actively market and promote your services in a highly focused way to a powerful niche market that is on the rise. You will be the ONLY group associated with the zip codes you subscribe to.

2. What does it cost to join the Women-to-Women network?

The cost of membership in the W2W network is remarkably low for what you receive because it is YOUR local networking group. We provide a web presence that helps establish you and your group as local authorities on homeownership for women. We provide the expertise to build website traffic, branding, advertising and PR. We provide you with a detailed marketing plan on how to build your groups presence and branding locally. We create the brochures, flyers, special reports and other resources to help you promote your group.

The actual cost of establishing a group depends on how many zip codes you wish to subscribe to and how many group members you share the cost with. If you subscribe to 5 zip codes and have 8 members who share the cost equally - the cost is only $45 a year per person - an extremely good value for the potential.

3. Are there any other costs involved other than the zip code subscription fee?

No & Yes. There are no other fees for membership in the network. We create the collateral materials and will provide them to you at cost - dropped shipped from our printer who prints them in high volumes to reduce the cost to our individual members. Other costs involved are related to other resources we recommend to help you promote and brand your group, like MeetUp.com. We have no relationship with these service providers and only recommend them because we use them and understand the value they provide.

4. Do I pay any referral fees?

No, we are not involved in any business or referral transaction between you and your clients or you and the other members of the W2W network.

5. Is this site only for single women homeowners?

No. All women (and many men) can benefit from the resources available on WH.

6. Do I have to be single to be in the W2W network?

No.

7. Can men be in the W2W network or groups?

No & Yes. W2W is a women-to-women network. What we are promoting to the end-client (independent women homeowners) is that they can connect and work with a group of women. How would you react to coming to a site that promotes itself as women-to-women and then find men in the mix? The members on your group page need to be women. Most groups will have an extended network beyond the women-to-women network - handymen, plumbers, mechanics, etc. that may not be women. This extended network is yours to develop as you wish.

8. How many zip codes can I subscribe to?

You can subscribe to as many as you want, but the more important question is how large of an area can you realistically provide personal support for? WH is not just an online lead generator. The real power and effectiveness of WH will be at the local level where each group provides a support structure for women homeowners.

When considering which zip codes to subscribe to there are two major items to consider:

  • Securing a community or geographic area. Zip codes subscriptions are exclusive - only one group connected to any zip code. To "secure" a community or area, you will need to subscribe to the zip codes that define that area.
  • Local Support Group - one of the keys to your success will be a local support that meets regularly to provide a venue for single women homeowners to meet with homeownership professionals (your group). How many groups do you want facilitate in any given month?

9. How many members can be in my group?

It's your group, it can be as large as you want. On the website, we only provide room for 8 members to provide contact info. These should be the members most involved with homeownership issues.

10. How do I complete my group's page?

Completing your group profile as quickly as possible is important. We have tried to make this as simple as possible by providing form fields for contact information. For the Group Name, choose something that helps to geographically define the group. Get a group photo taken that helps women visiting the site to connect with you and your group. Here is the link you need to login: use the username and password sent to you via email when you subscribed.

11. Does joining the W2W network violate RESPA?

No. The Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act does not prohibit anyone from joining a networking group, the local chamber of commerce, Rotary or other business oriented groups. Membership in the W2W network is not transaction based or transaction driven.

12. Is WH just another one of those "online lead generators?"

No, ours is not a lead generation model. Most likely, you will receive leads via the Internet and from other network members, but this will be the smallest segment of the business you generate from your membership. The majority of your business will come from your local activities and the branding/recognition you build in your community.
