Divorce statistics unfortunately tell us that marriage is not the "happily ever after" we all expected it to be when we said "I Do":

According to enrichment journal on the divorce rate in America:
The divorce rate in America for first marriage is 41%
The divorce rate in America for second marriage is 60%
The divorce rate in America for third marriage is 73%

With these dismal statistics it is a wonder any of us ever dream of marrying at all...but guess what? More than 2.5 million people in the USA get married every year, and somewhere in the neighborhood of between $40-$70 billion is spent on weddings in the USA every year. But there is a special strength that women gain from surviving a hardship: that which we survive makes us stronger and better, and clearly more focused on what we want.
